Who I help: BIPOC Adults in Maryland
I work with BIPOC adults who often look like they have it all together on the outside, but inside feel exhausted, disconnected, or weighed down by the pressure to keep performing. I’m especially drawn to people who tie their worth to productivity, have a hard time slowing down, or find themselves thinking through their feelings more than actually feeling them. I also support clients who are exploring identity, sexuality, boundaries, and self-advocacy and want a space where they can do that work without judgment.
How I help with Culturally Responsive Therapy
In our work together, I aim to create a warm, steady space where you do not have to have it all figured out before you start. I draw from experiential therapy, EFT, and psychoanalytic therapy to help you understand your patterns, notice what is happening beneath the surface, and build a stronger connection to your emotions and needs. My style is collaborative, gentle, and affirming, while still making room for the kind of growth that can happen when we slow things down and really listen to what your feelings are telling you.
What my clients say about working with me:
Clients often tell me they feel safe, seen, and understood with me, even when they are talking about things that feel tender or hard to name. They appreciate that I do not rush the process and that I meet them with warmth, compassion, and a little gentle challenge when it is helpful. Many clients say it feels relieving to work with someone who helps them open up without pressure and supports them in showing up more fully as themselves.
Off the clock:
Off the clock, I make time for the things that help me feel grounded and recharged. I value quiet moments, creativity, and connection, and I try to protect space for the simple things that help me stay balanced outside of work. That balance helps me bring my full self to the people I work with.
